That means it will keep the silver color it's entire life. (as long as you polish it now and then.) Please don't be fooled by other jewelers that say "silver" key, as they are silver plated. If the price is too good to be true, they are truly not solid sterling.

I cast keys from Eva Kingma flutes www.kingmaflutes.com in solid .925 sterling silver. All the other components: chain, bails, toggles and clasps are solid sterling silver as well. If you've only treated yourself to costume jewelry, this flute jewelry is the perfect transition into fine jewelry. I accent some pieces with 14K gold and semi-precious stones or fresh water pearls to create my one-of-a-kind flute jewelry.
